AUBURN, Ala.- Lane closures on East University Drive between Mall Parkway and Gatewood Drive are expected to begin during the week of July 15 while a contractor widens the road to accommodate new turn lanes related to the new Chick-fil-A. Intermittent lane closures are expected between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. through the beginning of August.

Traffic control measures will be in place to keep traffic flowing in both directions. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
